Prestigious Award Recognizes Organizations for Their Achievements in Providing Information Accuracy, Consistency and Reliability
Naperville, IL – June 14, 2006 – Infogix, Inc.™, a leading provider of Automated Information Control solutions, today announced it will co-sponsor the Information Integrity Coalition's (IIC) 2006 "Excellence in Information Integirty" award. Established in 1995, the annual award recognizes organizations that strive to provide accurate, consistent, and reliable information to their customers, suppliers, and partners.
"With the increased scrutiny and transparency in today's business environment, it is imperative that companies ensure their information is dependable and trustworthy in order to safeguard their organization from information risk," said Irina Ilina, marketing specialist for the Information Integrity Coalition. "Information Integrity is quickly gaining global traction as a new discipline, and we believe companies who are striving to excel in this area should be recognized for their efforts, which is why we developed the "Excellence in Information Integrity" award. It is the forward-thinking companies that have adopted solutions to ensure confidence in their information that will continue to be successful year after year."
Sponsored by DM Review, Gardner Carton & Douglas, Health Care Services Corporation, Illinois Information Technology Association (ITA), Infogix, Navigant Consulting, Inc. and Oversight Systems, the annual awards program evaluates companies, non-profits, and units of government that have demonstrated exceptional progress toward achieving Information Integrity and publicly honors the overall winner, as well as winners for each of the award categories including, Leadership, Quality Improvements, Profitability, Innovation, and Improved Customer Satisfaction. All nominations will be reviewed by a panel of independent judges made up of members of the IIC. The judges will evaluate nominees in each category and score them based on a scale ranging from average to excellent, and then review the independent scores and comments collectively to determine the winner.
"We are excited to see that more and more companies are concerned about Information Integrity and are taking the necessary steps to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of their information," said Madhavan Nayar, Company Leader of Infogix. "We are also proud to nominate worthy organizations for the 2006 "Excellence in Information Integrity" award and help bring recognition to the excellent work many organizations have put forth in addressing their Information Integrity issues."
This year's winners will be honored at the eleventh annual "Excellence in Information Integrity" award banquet on September 13, 2006, as well as in future issues of DM Review.
